On the extreme tip of the north-eastern German coast lies the port of the city of Sassnitz. How to reach Sassnitz port

By car, take the A20 until you reach the B96 for Sassnitz in Stralsund. After 30 km follow the B96b for Mukran. This road leads to the ferry terminal. Next to the terminal, there is a paid parking lot, which only accepts coins! You can leave your car there for three days for € 5.00 per day, or you can opt for a longer-term solution.

The nearest airport to the city is in Heringsdorf, about 180 kilometres away. Berlin airport is over three hundred kilometres away, but well connected by railways.
