Netferry takes you to southern England and the land of Harry Potter

Parents get ready for a fantastic adventure with your kids to southern England! Today Netferry explores the green Cotswolds hills and the magical land of Harry Potter. England is a land rich in history, legends and natural beauty, it has an extraordinary charm. It is even fascinating for your little ones, who are always in search of the locations of the Harry Potter books! The Studios are located between London and Luton, and you can choose to fly to one of the two airports or take the ferry to the various ports along England's southern coast from northern France.

The Harry Potter, Warner Bros Studio is located in Leavesden, you and your children will love the tour which involves some fun activities! You will have the chance to test your wand-waving abilities,  peek inside Professor Dumbledore's studio, jump aboard the Hogwarts Express and face your fears with the Death Eaters!

A visit to the studios takes about three hours, and you can choose to stay overnight in one of the hotels near the Studios. The next day, it's time to continue exploring some of the locations in the film such as Lacock Abbey.  The central cloisters here are the corridors of Hogwarts and the location for the mirror scenes in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone". As you are here, do not miss a visit to the botanical gardens at the abbey. The centre of town has a really traditional English atmosphere and is full of historic stone cottages and medieval-style buildings.

Another nearby place to visit is Gloucester Cathedral, whose main room was the dining room location for Hogwarts. Other scenes were filmed in the cloisters of this marvellous, imposing and well-kept place. In nearby Oxford, specifically inside Christ Church College, you can find the Hogwarts staircase. The Bodleian Library and the Divinity School location for the Hogwarts infirmary. To end the tour in romantic and natural settings, head to the Cotswolds from Oxford. This area is full of little typically-English villages surrounded by green countryside, peppered with stone cottages, gardens, medieval pubs and churches - it's a real picture-postcard landscape.
